A unique Train Experience through the Estérel Mountains to discover a small historical trainline from the beginning of the 20th century, passing through the heart of one of the most beautiful and unusual coastlines in France. Mysteriously uncontaminated by mass tourism, this site with its sublime landscapes has kept its authenticity. A getaway full of surprises in the heart of the Var. A splendid itinerary criss-crossing the Golden Cliff Road "Corniche d'Or", from Cannes to Fréjus and the treasures of its hinterland, also called Green Provence, the largest forest in France, the lung of South France, in the heart of which are hidden the jewels of our natural and historical heritage. We will discover marvellous 360° panoramas overlooking Cannes, the Lerins Islands and the Maures chains of Mountains.

Let's start the day in the morning to fully enjoy our day. From Cannes (or Nice), the Train will amaze you with its route, its breathtaking views on the ochre landscapes of the Esterel and immersing into the Mediterranean. Through viaducts and tunnels, witnesses of the French civil engineering of the beginning of the 20th century, you will live a unique experience commented on board by our Guide-lecturer through this unusual trainline.

Once we arrive at the station, we will enjoy a refreshing walk just along the sea level, of the Corniche d'Or, where the rocky landscapes with  thousands shades of colour of stones, overlooking the blue transparent of the sea, with scents of iodine & really surprising landscapes, you will be amaze after every corner. The opportunity also to evoke the history of the 2nd World War when we will pass by the famous Landing Beach of Provence. Then, its coastline becomes even more spectacular, with jagged red rocky cliffs with wild and untamed looks, where the flamboyant mountains plunge into the blue of the Mediterranean.

As we will pass along this historical corniche road, one of the jewels of the early French automobile club, you will be fascinated by small beaches & paradisiacal creeks, extraordinary natural landscapes, breathtaking panoramas & astonishing villas, bordering the sea and leaning against the mountains. We will take the opportunity to stop several times to admire the most enchanting viewpoints and natural sites.

You will enjoy a typical local picnic as lunch. We will prepare it for you on a fabulous and unaccessible site, on the water's edge, with only fresh and seasonal products.

  During the afternoon, several options are available for your program to suit your tastes and desires:

• A classic hike towards a summit from where the 360° panorama is delightful.
• Water sports to find idyllic seasides & creeks (possibilities: Stand Up Paddle, Kayak, Diving).
• A ride on an electric mountain bike to explore the many trails that lead through the wilderness.
• Relax, take a dip and free time to enjoy an exceptional coastal sight.
