ALONG THE SEA - FOREST & NATURAL PARK - PANORAMA - BAYS, CREEKS & BEACHES - VILLAS

The greatest hikes around Nice following the shoreline: sometimes passing by crests, parks & forest; sometimes passing by paths just next the sea. An idyllic hike to discover an exceptional Park & Seaside, discovering the specific endemic flora without ever losing sight on the best landscapes made of forests, panoramas, rocks, creeks, beaches and nature just above crystalline waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Bring your towel if you like to swim or take a dip in a paradisiacal beach. A delicious gourmet pic-nic will be offered for lunch.

Meeting point at the port of Nice, early in the morning at 8:30 am, to start this refreshing hike. After a short stretching relax session, we'll pass through hidden shortcuts in the middle of gorgeous villas until a little known path leading us to a Natural Forest composed by Mediterranean forests. We will reach the ridge of the hill after 30 minutes of stairs, but from the top the rewards make the effort worthwhile because it will permit to enjoy incredible panoramic spots. After the stops to admire panoramas, let's go downhill to join with a great Coastal Path with hundreds of lovely corners, just above the rocky jagged coast. One of the most beautiful part of the trail with transparent blue waters & the beautiful landscape embracing Villefranche's bay & the billonaires'cape, with scents of aromatic plants, exotic herbs & lovely flowers.

Then, we will cross the village, a former haven of peace for fishermen and its port of La Darse where centuries ago importants House of Savoy navy & merchants boats had been built. After having left behind the 16th century citadel, witness of wars & pirates attacks, to finish our hike with a great picnic of local specialties on a special beach. We highly recommend the long option with 3h more to continue around an incredible cape, residence of billionaires, with landscapes & views even more surprising at every corner. We will accord our cadence to the sportive level & sensibility of every one  of you.
